El celler de Can Roca, best restaurant in the world in 2013.
After having collected the top positions (fifth in 2009, fourth in 2010 and second in 2011 and 2012), the restaurant Roca brothers finally reached the holy grail. This trophy comes back in Catalonia after the first places from 2006 to 2009 the famous restaurant El Bulli of Ferran Adrià. Note that the chef Joan Roca spent a year with Ferran Adrià next to Cadaques.
The Roca brothers were able to moved the family inn, to an institution with an international reputation. They obtained their third Michelin star in 2009 (the first star was obtained in 1995) and of course top marks in all gastronomic guides.
Congratulations to Joan Roca, the cook, Josep Roca, sommelier and Jordi Roca pastry cook , for having also put so high the colors and flavors of Catalan cuisine.
